TulseeBag ("we") is a community business directory. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using TulseeBag you agree to this policy.
Information you give us
- Account details: when you register, we store your name and email address. Passwords are stored only as irreversible hashes — we never see your password.
- Google sign-in: if you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address, and a Google account identifier so we can link or create your account.
- Your contributions: business claims, listing edits, reviews, photos, deals, and marketplace/community posts you submit.
- Email preferences: if you opt into listing digests, we store your chosen city and email address to send them.
Information collected automatically
- Location (optional): the "Near me" feature asks your browser or device for your location and sends the coordinates to our server to sort results by distance. Your precise location is never stored.
- Usage analytics: we log listing views and search queries in aggregate to understand which categories and cities are popular. These logs are not tied to your identity.
- Device preferences: favorites, recently viewed listings, and theme choice are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device.
- Push subscriptions: if you enable push notifications, we store your browser's push subscription so we can deliver review, claim, and photo alerts.
- Cookies: we use a session cookie to keep you logged in. It contains no advertising or tracking identifiers.
Photos
Photos you upload to listings are reviewed by an administrator before they appear publicly. Please only upload photos you have the right to share.
How we use information
We use your information to run the directory: accounts and login, listing claims and moderation, reviews, notifications you asked for, and improving search and categories. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Service providers
- Email delivery (such as digests and claim notifications) is sent through our email provider.
- Map tiles and address search are provided by OpenStreetMap services when you use the map view.
Data retention and your choices
- You can change your password, update email digest preferences, or log out at any time from the account panel.
- You can ask us to delete your account and personal content by contacting us through the site.
- Directory listings themselves are public community information; corrections can be requested the same way.
Children
TulseeBag is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date above. Continued use of TulseeBag after changes means you accept the updated policy.
